L-Max – the 62 cm long format from Röben
With the new L-Max brick slip, measuring 62 cm in length and just 4 cm in height, Röben adds an impressive new dimension to the possibilities of modern façade design. This exceptionally narrow yet long format creates precise architectural accents and opens up new creative scope for planners to realise sophisticated designs.
Projekt-based production
Röben manufactures L-Max ceramic brick slips using a newly developed, mould-bound pressing process. This process ensures high dimensional accuracy, energy-efficient production and the custom manufacture of brick slips in individual lengths of up to 620 mm in a range of colour shades.
Sustainable from the very start
Unlike other methods, these brick slips are produced from the outset with a thickness of 14 mm and a standard length of 62 cm – meaning they are not cut from solid bricks. This eliminates the additional energy required to fire solid bricks and the subsequent sawing process. The result is a resource-efficient and sustainable manufacturing process.
Ceramics – unrivalled
L-Max brick slips combine – as is typical of ceramic products – all the tried-and-tested quality features of Röben brick slips: they are exceptionally durable, retain their colour over time, and are weather- and frost-resistant, whilst also offering high resistance to environmental influences. The hard-fired ceramic surface retains its characteristic appearance even after decades. In this way, L-Max cladding tiles combine architectural innovation with technical quality and lasting value retention.
For many years, Röben has been committed to making its production processes more sustainable, step by step, with great dedication and demonstrable success. Building on our certified environmental management system (EMS) and our energy management system – which has been in place and certified since 2012 – we are constantly working to reduce energy consumption in a targeted manner and to continuously improve the responsible use of natural resources throughout our production environment.
