The unique charm of the brick slips stems from the subtly nuanced texture of their surfaces, which impressively highlight the interplay of light and shadow. This creates facades with a unique character, whose appearance constantly evolves throughout the day.

In addition to their remarkable appearance, our clinker brick slips offer the proven advantages of ceramic: they are exceptionally durable, colorfast, frost- and weather-resistant. In this way, they combine sophisticated design with lasting quality.

The clinker strips are produced from the outset with a thickness of 14 mm—unlike other methods, they are not cut from solid clinker bricks. This eliminates the additional energy required for firing solid clinker bricks and the subsequent sawing process. The result is a resource-efficient and highly sustainable manufacturing process.

For many years, Röben has been committed to making its production processes more sustainable, step by step, with great dedication and visible success. Based on our certified environmental management system (EMS) and our energy management system—which has been in place and certified since 2012—we are continuously working to systematically reduce energy consumption and steadily improve the responsible use of natural resources throughout our entire production environment. The roadmap for brick production: to nearly halve energy consumption by 2050 and produce bricks using green hydrogen, green electricity, and biogenic solid fuels.
